Bishop Stephen has given us three watch-words,
as we seek to become a more Christ-like church:
But what is contemplation? What does it have to do with Jesus or the Bible?
How does it relate to prayer, meditation or mindfulness?
If you would like to explore these questions, or if you struggle to find time for silence and rest in your life, or if you think ‘I can’t be still for more than 2 minutes’ – then this Lent brings a great opportunity.
Jim will be leading two sessions each week that give a simple, direct and practical introduction to contemplative prayer and a contemplative approach to life. This will include some teaching content; guided practice and the chance just to sit and soak up some silence.
